Instructions for use

  1. The device is a non-powered, hand-held, breath regulation device intended for voluntary respiratory exercise by healthy users for relaxation, general breathing therapy that may support people who experience anxiety and panic attacks. It is designed for short-term, home use and does not provide ventilatory support, oxygen delivery, or diagnostic measurement.
  2. Intended for use by healthy individuals. Not intended for children under the age of 15 unless supervised by a responsible adult.
  3. The device can be used as part of a daily mindfulness stress-management routines in the home, at work or in any non-clinical environment.
  4. Do not use the device if you have a known respiratory, cardiovascular or neurological condition unless advised by a healthcare professional. Do not use the device if breathing through the device causes discomfort or distress.
  5. Stop using the device if you experience dizziness, light-headedness, shortness of breath or chest discomfort. Use the device only as described in these Instructions.
  6. The device is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any medical condition. Do not make modifications to the device.
  7. The device consists of the main body and a removeable base (for ease of cleaning) Before use, Inspect the device for visible damage. Clean before use as set out in Section 11. Do not use the device if it is damaged or defective.
  8. After use, allow yourself a short rest period to breathe slowly and calmly.
  9. Clean the device after use. Remove the base which clips off. Wash with warm water and mild detergent and rinse thoroughly to remove all dish soap. Allow the device to air dry completely before reattaching the base.
  10. The device is intended for repeated use by a single user. Do not share the device between users. Discontinue use and replace the device if it becomes damaged.
  11. Store the device in a clean, dry place such as in a small protective case. Avoid exposure to high temperature and keep out of reach of children when not in use.
  12. If discomfort is felt during its use then stop using the device. Attempt to naturally slow your breathing. If you have difficulty breathing through the device make sure the device is clean and unobstructed.
  13. If use of the device brings about any adverse effects then discontinue use. If a serious incident occurs in relation to this device, report the incident to the manufacturer and the Therapeutic Goods Administration.
  14. Dispose of the device in accordance with local waste regulations. The device is 100% recyclable.
